A case study
A Revit add-in that brings the bimcore.one family store into Revit and keeps its content in sync automatically.
Ivan Zylev owns bimcore.one, an online shop of Revit families: content for Autodesk Revit, the architectural design software.
The Bimcore Revit add-in is a set of tools for modeling in Autodesk Revit. It includes families of objects for detailed models of kitchens, storage cabinets and more, letting interior designers and architects work with exact dimensions and count the modules or elements a design needs. Ready-to-use components that follow common design standards make the modeling phase faster and more accurate.
The add-in manages and synchronizes BIM (Building Information Modeling) assets directly within Revit. Its architecture transfers assets from the store to Revit and keeps the content persistently synchronized and up to date.

The add-in transfers assets from the bimcore.one store straight into Revit: ready-to-use families for kitchens, storage cabinets and more, with exact dimensions and module counts.
Bundles and assets are retrieved and cached automatically, with intelligent version control. Timed checks look for new bundles and updates, notify users and update content automatically according to their preferences.
The add-in regularly checks for new installer versions, so users always run the current release.
